For more than three generations, the municipality of Jilotopec (neighboring Xalapa), has produced high-altitude coffee of excellent quality, rivaling coffees from other regions of Veracruz for its flavor, aroma, and tradition. 

Jilotopec has to an ecological reserve that protects a remnant of cloud-forrest, home to a wide variety of flora & fauna that contribute to the uniqueness of its soils and, consequently, to the flavor of each coffee bean.
